Who Uses ISNetworld®?

We get the question who uses ISNetworld® all the time. ISNetworld® is a supplier management tool used by hiring clients to manage risk. Suppliers and contractors use the platform to fulfill hiring client requirements which can include training, HSE / EHS Manual, Insurance and many other data points important to the hiring client.

There are approximately 650 hiring clients who use the platform to digitally / electronically manage their suppliers and contractors. Suppliers and contractors are managed through a prequalification process which is meant to provide clarity and drive hiring client standards with the goal of increasing safety in the workplace.

 

The process is both basic and can be complex. Basically, the contractor /  supplier opens an account within the platform. Then, the contractor / supplier will complete a questionnaire which categorizes the contractor / supplier according to work type. This work type then creates a set of requirements based on the hiring clients’ set of standards which will include items such as EHS / HSE Manuals, training records and insurance documents. Once the documents are uploaded the documents are reviewed and ultimately graded to determine conformance with the hiring client’s requirements.

 

The platform supports nearly all trades material suppliers from roofing and machine repair to part suppliers. Each type of contractor / supplier may have requirements specific to work performed by the contractor / supplier.
