Client Challenge: Client is a global aerospace and industrial products manufacturer with a long history of private ownership. The organization is in the business of producing materials serving the aerospace, space, chemical, petroleum, and construction markets. To maintain compliance with Federal and local regulations the client must maintain a levels of metals in wastewater below regulatory limits. Existing wastewater treatment facility was deemed inadequate for the volume of wastewater produced.
Practical Solution: Our company reviewed the Client’s international operation in a process to determine the capability of the existing wastewater treatment facility. This process included a thorough review of all process water generated for both contaminants and volume. After the study was complete there were a several issues which needed to be addressed to alleviate existing treatment system from being replaced.
