Documentation

Site-specific written safety programs auditors actually accept.

Custom-written, OSHA-compliant manuals covering each site, each job function, each employee operation. Delivered as both a three-ring binder and a branded electronic version on a flash drive, so the manual gets read in the office and used on the jobsite.

What's in the manual

The chapters customers and inspectors expect.

We tailor each manual to your trades, your sites, and your insurance + customer requirements. Not a templated boilerplate everyone in your industry has the same copy of.

  • Hazard communication (HazCom)
  • Injury and Illness Prevention Plan (IIPP / California IIPP)
  • Lockout/Tagout (LOTO)
  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
  • Fall protection
  • Confined space entry
  • Respiratory protection
  • Hot work / welding / cutting
  • Bloodborne pathogens (where applicable)
  • Drug-free workplace policy
  • Emergency action plan
  • Subcontractor safety management

What it does for your business

A real safety manual is operational, not decorative.

  • ›Bid more projects and respond to RFP safety requirements
  • ›Stay updated to meet your hiring client's evolving expectations
  • ›Provide comprehensive evidence for an OSHA inspector on day one
  • ›Match the underwriting expectations of your insurance provider
  • ›Educate your workforce on company-specific policies in a single source of truth
  • ›Have a defensible record if anything ever goes wrong on a jobsite

California IIPP

A California-specific IIPP, done right for out-of-state operators.

California's IIPP requirements (8 CCR §3203) are stricter and more specific than most other state programs. Construction and energy work picks up additional requirements (8 CCR §1509). Out-of-state safety manuals routinely fail Cal/OSHA inspection because they don't have the California-specific elements documented in writing.

Failure to implement and maintain a compliant IIPP can subject your business to penalties and jeopardize the health of your employees on California jobsites.

Core elements we include

  • Person responsible for the program (named, with title)
  • System for ensuring employees comply with safe work practices
  • System for communicating with employees on safety matters
  • Procedures for identifying and evaluating workplace hazards
  • Procedures for investigating injuries and illnesses
  • Methods for correcting unsafe conditions promptly
  • Training (general + job-specific + when introducing new substances or hazards)
  • Recordkeeping (inspections, training, hazard communications)

Industry-specific additions for construction (§1509), energy (refining, drilling, oilfield), shipbuilding, and tunnel work.

Deliverable format

Three-ring binder + electronic version on a branded flash drive.

The binder lives in the office. The drive lives in the truck. Both are kept current on the same release cycle.

Update cadence

Versioned and maintained, not "set once and forget."

We push policy updates as regulations change and as your operations evolve. Available standalone or as part of a maintenance retainer.
